Introducing Jami Patton: Our Dedicated Live-In Advisor and Head Chef

We are excited to welcome Jami Patton to our chapter for the 2023-2024 school year. Jami will be serving as our full-time live-in advisor and head chef, marking a significant moment for our organization. She is the first house mom since Ora Thrasher in the 1960s-1970s.

Jami brings a wealth of experience to our chapter. With ten years as a Licensed Practical N

urse at Bloomington Healthcare and seven years as a cook in fraternity and sorority settings, she is well-prepared to support and enrich our community. She has also served as a substitute live-in advisor in a fraternity and sorority, emphasizing her dedication to creating positive living and learning environments. Outside of her professional life, Jami is a proud mother of two adult daughters.

Jami, having previously worked as our head chef, has noticed the growth and maturity of the gentlemen in our house. She says, "It's mesmerizing to watch how much they've grown since last being here."

We are pleased to have Jami as our live-in advisor, as it aligns with IU's requirements for Greek houses. Her presence will undoubtedly contribute to the well-being of our members.

Jami is enthusiastic about her new position, stating, "I don't want to take this position just to fill a role. I want to make it the best position."
